3/26/2026 Looking for my Place For the past year, I’ve felt a pull toward something I couldn’t quite find. A sense of belonging. Community. Sisterhood. A place where women come together not just to network, but to connect. To build real relationships. To spend time doing things that actually fill you up. I kept looking for it. Groups with workshops, brunches, hikes, happy hours. Spaces that felt intentional but still easy. Structured, but not rigid. What I found instead felt… close, but not quite right. There are networking groups, but I’m not necessarily looking to exchange business cards. I’m looking to exchange energy, stories, support. There are social clubs, but some have gone quiet, and others come with annual fees or attendance expectations that make it feel more like an obligation than a joy. I don’t want something that feels transactional. I want something that feels alive. A space for women who want to be empowered, informed, active. A space that encourages growth but also laughter. That gives back to the community. That makes you feel better when you leave than when you arrived. Something rooted in connection, not pressure. And maybe the reason I haven’t found it… is because I’m meant to create it. Comments are closed.
